The facility is built to ASIO T4 physical security standards.

Physical Construction

The facility is build upon the defence-in-depth principle. The facility is set back from the street and surrounded by 2m high fencing and protected by security lighting at night.

The external perimeter of the building is built to the ASIO T4 Intruder Resistant standard. The Data Centre space is built to the ASIO T4 Secure Area Standard.

Internally, the Data Centre space is segmented into individual suites for each Client.

Access Control

The facility is protected by an electronic access control system utilizing proximity cards and SCEC endorsed lock hardware.

Options exist for customer to install portions of their own access control system into portions of the facility if required.

Intruder Detection

A zoned, SCEC endorsed Type 1 Security Alarm System is installed in the facility, allowing separate alarming of the facility and individual Client suites.

Where security considerations permit, options exist for back to base monitoring to an approved monitoring provider upon Client request.

CCTV

The extremities of the facility, entry and egress to the facility, and selected internal spaces are monitored 24x7 by CCTV.
